The Gravity Tour changed from 100 in²/18×20 in 2023 to 98 in²/16×19 in 2025. TW-related sources list both at 323 g strung, but swingweight changes from 319 to 328. Retaining the name and static weight does not make this a minor revision of the same playing setup.

Restart the comparison with head and pattern

The RacquetFinder entry with code HGTR identifies the 2023 model as 100 in²/18×20; the current TW table specifies 98 in²/16×19 for 2025. The older Tour's string setup and trajectory should not be assumed to transfer unchanged.

TW describes the new pattern as targeting a higher launch and easier depth, without publishing a measured change in degrees or RPM. Head area and pattern changed together, so this is not an experiment isolating either one.

The same 323 g accompanies a nine-point swingweight difference

The archived 2023 reference is 319 swingweight and 63 RA; the 2025 product table lists 328 and 59 RA. These are retailer reference values, not a repeated, controlled measurement of two individual frames. They do not guarantee a nine-point increase for every unit.

The buying question remains useful: equal static weight is no reason to expect equal preparation speed. Separate a rushed next ball after defence from a short block against an opponent's pace and inspect the change in each situation.

Compare the current Pro and Speed Tour in that order

The Gravity Pro 2025 lists 332 g/329 with 100 in²/18×20. The Tour removes 9 g but differs by just one swingweight point; rotational demand need not fall in proportion to static weight.

The Speed Tour 2026 also lists 323 g strung, but pairs 97 in²/16×19 with 325 swingweight. That differs from the Gravity Tour's 98 in²/328 combination. Your contact locations and repeated preparation requirements are better starting points than the shared Tour name.

What to inspect when transferring the old tension

TW lists 48–57 lb. Copying a tension number from the old 18×20 setup does not reproduce identical stiffness in the new 16×19 stringbed. Start with the same string model and gauge to make the frame change easier to read.

Record a deep crosscourt drive, a short block return and a low volley separately. Easier depth on a full swing can coexist with repeated overlength on short touch shots. Isolate the necessary adjustments instead of changing material and tension substantially at the same time.

Keep the generation in used-racquet and repeat-purchase records

Record 2025, 98 in² and 16×19 alongside Gravity Tour. Keep the 2023 100 in²/18×20 record separate. A model name alone can mix incompatible stringing histories and demo impressions.

Check finished weight, balance and, where available, swingweight on the unit being bought. Product reviews can discuss other generations too. Reviews without a verified generation should not become specification or measurement evidence.
